Radium Fluid Lock Crankcase Catch Can Kit - Ford Focus ST LZ (2015-2018)

⚠️ Important: Focus ST installations require the Radium 20-0356 Sound Symposer Delete Kit (or equivalent) to be installed before fitting this catch can.
The Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Crankcase Catch Can Kit addresses the crankcase vent side of the crankcase ventilation system on the Ford Focus ST LZ. The PCV and crankcase side catch cans function completely independently of each other and are sold individually or together.
This is a closed loop system — it does not vent to atmosphere (VTA), making it emissions compliant and track legal. The catch can features large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick for easy fluid inspection. Mounts on the rear LH side of the engine bay using factory holes with no cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications required.
Note: The Focus RS uses a different kit (20-0316-FL) due to subtle engine bay differences requiring a different mounting bracket design.
Crankcase Catch Can - How It Works
Runs inline with the crankcase breather port. At low loads it experiences atmospheric pressure, but at high load (WOT) it captures high crankcase blow-by flow that would otherwise accumulate as oil and sludge in the intake pipe and intercooler — reducing thermal efficiency and performance over time.
