It's hard to throw obstacles in the Tacoma's way that it can't overcome fairly easily. CSF has developed a new all-aluminum high-performance 2-row radiator to keep these "Tacos" COOL! Introducing the Ultimate Performance Radiator for the Second Gen Toyota Tacoma by CSF.
With much success in CSF's exclusive High-Performance Radiator for the Toyota FJ Cruiser (CSF #7076). The over-landing community made it clear that the Cooling Experts had another vehicle they needed to address. The Tacoma radiator features CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology that increases the heat dissipation by approximately 15% over regular tubes as well as multi-louvered fins to maximize airflow through the radiator core. 100% TIG welded construction ensures a higher level of reliability and durability compared to the OEM plastic tanks, which may become brittle or susceptible to cracking, considering early models are now 14+ years old. Many are driven in extreme conditions, from dry desert heat to mud obstructing off-roads so they definitely take a beating. The added stress on the motor in irregular conditions can cause these Tacoma's to over-heat.
CSF maximized the space in front of the motor, developing a radiator unit that has over 50% more capacity than the OEM unit, going from the provided 27mm 1-row core to the CSF 42mm 2-row B-Tube core. Even with its added capacity, the new CSF#7092 High-Performance Radiator is still a "drop-in fit," requiring no modifications to install and still finished in CSF's signature 1-hour mirror hand polish. A true plug-and-play upgrade and replacement solution topped off with CSF's 2-year limited warranty.
CSF's 2-row high-performance radiator is 55% thicker than the older OEM unit with 15 mm of more ultra-efficient cooling capacity and better heat transfer efficiency.
