How do I pick the right JE pistons?
Match the kit to your engine, bore and target compression ratio, and to your machining plan if you are boring the block. Most kits list the engine, bore and CR. Ask us if you want help confirming a kit.
Do I need rings and pins as well?
Many JE kits include the matched rings and pins, while some list them separately. Check the listing, and remember a piston swap is part of a wider bottom-end rebuild that also needs bearings, gaskets and head studs.
Can you build my engine with these?
Yes. Our Ringwood workshop uses JE pistons in engine builds and can machine, assemble and balance the bottom end.
