Overview:
Motul Gear Competition 75W-140 is a 100% synthetic ester-based gear oil engineered for high-load racing gearboxes, hypoid differentials (including LSD/limited-slip systems), synchronized or non-synchronized transmissions and transfer boxes exposed to extreme temperatures and heavy shock loads.
It meets API GL-5 and exceeds standard requirements, offering outstanding shear resistance, film strength at high temperature, smooth shift performance at low temperature, and built-in friction modifiers for LSD compatibility.
Who it's for:
Ideal for track day, rally, drift or endurance motorsport builds and high-power modified street cars requiring maximum drivetrain protection. Use when your differential or gearbox demands a 75W-140 grade fluid (or when you want extra margin under stress). For standard everyday use with mild loads, a lower grade might suffice — but for serious competition this oil delivers.
