Description
Overview
Motul 8100 X-clean Gen2 5W-40 is a high-performance 100% synthetic lubricant approved by multiple major car manufacturers. It’s specially formulated for the latest generation of petrol and diesel engines — naturally aspirated or turbocharged, with direct or indirect injection — that comply with Euro 4, 5, or 6 emission standards.
This ACEA C3-rated engine oil provides a high HTHS viscosity (>3.5 mPa.s) and “Mid SAPS” formulation, offering reduced levels of sulfated ash, phosphorus, and sulfur. The result is cleaner combustion, longer engine life, and reliable protection for sensitive emission systems.
Who It’s For
Ideal for modern European vehicles requiring ACEA C3 oil and manufacturer approvals such as BMW LL-04, Mercedes-Benz 229.52, Porsche A40, and VW 502.00 / 505.00. Fully compatible with catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters (DPF). Always check your vehicle handbook before use.
