Frequently asked questions
Is this genuine ARP?
Yes. As an authorised ARP dealer we supply genuine ARP parts, new and not replicas.
Studs or bolts, and which alloy?
Studs give more even clamping and are preferred for boosted builds, while bolts can be easier to fit in some engine bays. ARP2000 suits most performance builds, and the stronger Custom Age and L19 grades are for very high-load applications. Ask us with your engine and target.
Do head studs need anything else?
Head studs are usually fitted with a fresh head gasket and the ARP assembly lubricant, and torqued to the ARP spec. We can supply the matching gasket.
Can you fit ARP hardware?
Yes. Our Ringwood workshop fits ARP studs and bolts during engine builds and torques them to spec.
