Description
The Radium Engineering 20-0759-FL CCV Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit is a purpose-built crankcase ventilation solution for the Toyota GR Corolla (GZEA14R, 2023+). Running inline between the crankcase vent (CCV) port on the valve cover and the turbocharger inlet port, this kit intercepts oil-saturated blow-by before it enters the turbocharger, intercooler, and intake manifold — protecting the G16E-GTS engine from oil contamination under high-load driving.
The catch can mounts to threaded studs on the RH strut tower using a GR Corolla-specific bracket — no cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications required. It is fully compatible with the OEM engine cover. The kit is a closed-loop design — it does not vent to atmosphere (VTA), making it emissions compliant and track legal.
CCV Circuit
At low loads, the CCV circuit sees atmospheric pressure. Under high load (WOT), it experiences high flow from the crankcase into the intake system — conditions that would normally deposit oil and sludge in the turbocharger, intercooler, and intake manifold. The Radium catch can captures these contaminants and routes clean filtered air back into the intake, promoting negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance and preventing oil vapours from entering the cabin.
Key Features
- CCV circuit coverage — inline between valve cover CCV port and turbocharger inlet
- Fluid Lock design — prevents fluid from draining back into the engine when the can is full
- Large 10AN ORB ports — maximise flow and minimise restriction
- 4AN ORB drain port — easy, clean draining without removing the can
- 2-step oil separation baffling — highly effective at separating oil mist from blow-by vapour
- O-ring sealed dipstick — check fluid level without opening the system
- Closed-loop system — emissions compliant and track legal, no VTA
- GR Corolla-specific mounting bracket — mounts to RH strut tower threaded studs
- OEM engine cover compatible — no clearance issues with factory cover
- No permanent modifications required — no cutting or drilling
Kit Includes
- Baffled oil catch can (Fluid Lock)
- GR Corolla-specific mounting bracket
