Description
Radium Dual Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit - LHD Subaru WRX (2001-2014) / STI (2001-2021)
Suits:
- 2001-2014 Subaru WRX (LHD)
- 2001-2021 Subaru STI
Note: This kit is designed for LHD (Left Hand Drive) vehicles. RHD fitment requires a custom bracket — not included.
The Radium Engineering Dual Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit is the ultimate crankcase protection solution for LHD Subaru EJ-platform WRX and STI builds. Featuring large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick, these kits mount using factory holes and integrate cleanly with surrounding components.
This is a closed loop system — it does not vent to atmosphere (VTA), making it emissions compliant and track legal. By removing oil and sludge from both PCV and CCV gases before they re-enter the engine, the system promotes negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance and prevents unwanted oil vapours from entering the cabin.
No cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications required.
PCV Catch Can Kit
The PCV catch can runs inline between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. It captures crankcase vapour, unspent fuel, and oil sludge that would otherwise be drawn into the intake manifold during idle, steady-state cruising, and deceleration.
Includes:
- Baffled oil catch can
- Subaru-specific mounting bracket (LHD)
- AN adapter fittings and hose ends
- Stainless steel hardware
- Radium PCV hose
Note: No extra inline check valve required — Radium catch cans are pressure sealed.
CCV Catch Can Kit
The CCV catch can runs inline between the crankcase vent (CCV) port and the intake pipe. At high load (WOT), it captures high-flow crankcase blow-by that would otherwise accumulate as oil and sludge in the intake pipe and intercooler — reducing thermal efficiency and performance over time.
Includes:
- Baffled oil catch can
- Subaru-specific mounting bracket (LHD)
- AN adapter fittings and hose ends
- Stainless steel hardware
- Radium CCV hose
RHD Fitment
This kit is designed for LHD vehicles only. For RHD Subaru WRX and STI applications, a custom bracket will be required as the included brackets are not compatible with RHD engine bay layouts. Please contact us before purchasing if you are fitting this to a RHD vehicle.
