Radium CCV Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit, Mitsubishi Evo X

The Radium Engineering 20-1106-FL CCV Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit is a purpose-built crankcase ventilation solution for the Mitsubishi Evo X. Designed to intercept oil-saturated blow-by vapours before they re-enter the intake stream, this kit protects your turbocharger, intercooler, and intake system from oil contamination — a critical upgrade on any performance-driven Evo X.

This kit installs in-line with the CCV hose that runs from the valve cover port to the turbo air intake pipe. Left unaddressed, this hose routes crankcase vapours, unspent fuel, and oil sludge directly into the intake — coating the intercooler core, reducing thermal efficiency, and degrading performance over time. The Radium catch can collects these contaminants before they reach the intake.

The system is a closed-loop design — it does not vent to atmosphere (VTA), making it emissions compliant and track legal. Clean, filtered air is routed back through the engine to promote negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance, while preventing oil vapours from entering the cabin.
