Introducing an Oil Cooler Kit featuring Optimal Core Size and Layout Design.
Now available for the high-performance FF model CIVIC TYPE-R(FK8).

The K20C engine, boasting a 2.0 displacement and producing 320ps, requires a water-cooled oil cooler to stabilize its exceptionally high engine output. However, during circuit driving, the temperature of both oil and water sharply rises due to inadequate heat radiation, triggering fail-safe mode.
The addition of the HKS air-cooling type oil cooler kit provides high heat exchange efficiency, suppressing the temperature rise not only of the oil but also the water. The HKS oil cooler kit includes a special aluminum air guide. 

  • Utilizing a newly developed 48mm wide 9-layer oil cooler core and a specialized air duct to extract maximum performance, these components are mounted inside the inner fender.
  • The oil pump's pulsation noise, generated by an increase in engine rotation, can sometimes transmit to the vehicle interior through the high-pressure-resistant stainless mesh hose. The HKS oil cooler kit includes an insulator to substantially reduce this pulsation noise.
  • The attachment incorporates a thermostat to prevent excessive cooling of the part.
  • Vehicle modification required for installing this kit is minimized. (Modifications to the back of the bumper, inner fender, and brake duct are the only requirements.)

Not compatible with vehicles equipped with Honda Sensing ®.

Yes, local pickup is available from our Ringwood workshop. Simply select ‘Local Pickup’ at checkout and we’ll notify you when your order is ready.
