The HKS Metal Catalyzer replaces the factory primary catalyzer and the front pipe with secondary catalyzer on the facelift GR Yaris. HKS swap the stock 600 cell ceramic cores for low-density 150 cell metal catalysts in both positions, and open the pipe up from 70mm to 75mm, cutting exhaust back pressure while keeping emissions purification in place.

On the HKS test car the catalyzer alone added 5.4 kW and 4.8 Nm over stock. Paired with the HKS Super Turbo Muffler (31029-AT017) the gain was 10.8 kW and 14.9 Nm.
