Why a two-piece rotor?
A two-piece rotor pairs a replaceable iron ring with a light aluminium hat. That cuts unsprung and rotating weight and handles heat better, so the brakes stay consistent on track, and when the ring wears you replace just the ring.
Do I need a big brake kit?
For most road and occasional track use, upgraded rotors and pads are enough. A big brake kit adds larger rotors and multi-piston calipers for heavy track work. Tell us how you use the car.
