The 8L A3 shares its 1.8T driveline with the Mk4 Golf and TT 8N, so the parts here lean on that well-supported platform. Everything on this page is tagged to the 1996-2003 8L, A3 and S3 included.

Suspension is the clear focus, with a deep H&R range of lowering springs, sway bars, VSS adjustable springs, coilovers, and EDC delete kits, joined by Bilstein B8 dampers and B14 coilovers and AST springs. The 1.8T engine side draws on ARP rod and head bolts, Eagle connecting rods, Cometic head gaskets, and an Integrated Engineering fuel rail, with Injen, aFe, and AEM covering induction and a set of Hawk race pads on the brake side.
